This might be my favorite silhouette of the old TCAAP water tower. The red-winged blackbird did his territorial call from the top of the tree for about 20 minutes before it flew off.

Today at the TCAAP WVA, I Saw More Cranes
I saw seven sandhill cranes fly over Lake Marsden tonight at the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area. These ones looked like they were planning to land but I didn't see what the decided. I sure hope some of them land and nest again this year.
