There hasn't been a whole lot of wildlife variety near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area for a couple months now. There are a few regular flocks of chickadees, some robins and American tree sparrows.
This little chickadee flow down in front of my lens for only a few brief seconds. I think I got 3 frames. One out of focus, this one in focus and one without the chickadee.

Today at the TCAAP WVA, I Saw 5 Ducks
I made it out to the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area tonight. It's nice the days are getting longer and there is light still available after work.
Not a great photo but I like it because there are ducks above the water tower.

Previously Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw a Foggy Sunrise
Here is another shot of Lake Marsden covered in fog. The tracks in the foreground are from wild turkeys mostly. There might be some deer and coyote tracks mixed in there too.

Today Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw Deer
I saw some deer today near the TCCAP Wildlife Viewing Area. Usually they run when I drove up but three in this group didn't. This one in particular allowed me to re-position to eliminate some branches in the foreground.
The sunrise was very good behind the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area.

Today Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw Curves and Trees
It was mildly interesting near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area today. The morning light was great so I did some landscapes. Here are a couple of my favorites.
Once again, I forgot to shoot the old Zenobia 120 film camera.

Today at the TCAAP WVA, I Saw Snow
The TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area had about 4 inches of wet sloppy snow on the trail today. I brought only the 50mm f1.4 lens to see what I could see. Here is a shot of the bridge.
There was a commotion in the trees off in the distance. Initially, I thought it was a weight of the wet sticky snow cracking some branch until I saw a turkey up there. Didn't have the big glass so it's just an interesting memory.

Today at the TCAAP WVA, I Saw Leftovers
There are very...very few rabbits near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area. In fact, I haven't seen a rabbit track in the snow anywhere near the area for quite some time. I suspect the rabbit that used to own this leg fed a thankful red-tailed hawk. I've seen hawks perching on this sign in the past.
I went out there tonight for the sunset.

Previously Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw a Sun Halo
It was single digit Fahrenheit temps over the weekend with some well below zero wind chills when I shot this photo near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area.

Today Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw Chickadees
There are a number to chickadee flocks near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area. I especially like to watch those that live near the dogwoods. I really want a nice shot of a chickadee on a bright red branch of a dogwood tree. Alas, I didn't get a great shot, but I did get a shot.

Today Near the TCAAP WVA, I Saw A Coyote
Saw a coyote in the same spot where I've seen it in the past near the TCAAP Wildlife Viewing Area. So far, I haven't been able to catch it with the camera while it's standing still. As soon as I turn the truck off, it runs.
